BluSky Orbit 50k payout rules, explained simply

Prop firm payout rules are often confusing. Here are the BluSky Orbit 50k's, in plain English and with the real numbers, checked on BluSky Trading's own website on Sep 26, 2026. When BluSky Trading changes a rule, this page changes too.

In 30 seconds

  • Earliest first payout: about 4 days after you buy, if you pass at the first try on the fewest days the rules allow.
  • You can only withdraw profit above $52,000 (the first $2,000 of profit stays in the account as a buffer).
  • Each payout is capped: $2,000 per 7 days.
  • You keep 90% of what you withdraw.
  • Between payouts you need roughly $500 of new profit (minimum payout).

Before your first payout

  1. Pass the evaluation: reach the $3,000 profit target without hitting the $2,000 max loss.
  2. Grow the balance above $52,000. That's the buffer: money below it can't be withdrawn.
  3. Days needed: Every 3 trading days.
  4. Consistency rule on payouts: your best day can't be more than 40% of your total profit. Example: if your best day is $1,000, you need at least $2,500 of total profit.
  5. Profit needed: Profit above the payout threshold.
  6. Your request must be at least $500.

How much you take home

  • Payout cap: $2,000 per 7 days.
  • Daily profit cap: Stop for the day at $5,000 profit. Profit above it on a single day may not count.
  • Profit split: you keep 90% of what you withdraw.

Example: $4,000 of profit in the funded account

Profit above the $2,000 buffer$2,000
Your 90% profit split$1,800
You receive$1,800

Getting funded costs $199 at the first try; with about $2,500 of profit, the first payout pays it back.

After the first payout

  • Make about $500 of new profit before the next payout (minimum payout).
  • Typical processing time: Same day.
  • Path to a live account: Review for Live Brokerage at $10,000 total profit.

What can cost you a payout

  • End-of-day trailing drawdown: the floor sits $2,000 below your highest end-of-day balance and moves up when you close a day at a new high (never down). Losses during the day only count at the close.
  • Breaking the consistency rule doesn't fail the account, but it blocks the payout until your profit is spread over more days.
