E8 Signature 150k payout rules, explained simply

Prop firm payout rules are often confusing. Here are the E8 Signature 150k's, in plain English and with the real numbers, checked on E8 Futures's own website on Sep 26, 2026. When E8 Futures changes a rule, this page changes too.

In 30 seconds

  • Earliest first payout: about 4 days after you buy, if you pass at the first try on the fewest days the rules allow.
  • You can only withdraw profit above $154,500 (the first $4,500 of profit stays in the account as a buffer).
  • Each payout is capped: $3,250 (payouts 1-2), $4,250 (3-4), $5,250 (5th); max 5 payouts per account.
  • You keep 80% of what you withdraw.
  • Between payouts you need roughly $2,250 of new profit (5 days × $450).

Before your first payout

  1. Pass the evaluation: reach the $9,000 profit target without hitting the $4,500 max loss.
  2. Grow the balance above $154,500. That's the buffer: money below it can't be withdrawn.
  3. Days needed: 5 profitable days of $450+ between payouts (not before the 1st).
  4. Consistency rule on payouts: your best day can't be more than 35% of your total profit. Example: if your best day is $1,000, you need at least $2,857 of total profit.
  5. Profit needed: Profit above the buffer.
  6. Your request must be at least $100.

How much you take home

  • Payout cap: $3,250 (payouts 1-2), $4,250 (3-4), $5,250 (5th); max 5 payouts per account.
  • Profit split: you keep 80% of what you withdraw.

Example: $7,750 of profit in the funded account

Profit above the $4,500 buffer$3,250
Your 80% profit split$2,600
You receive$2,600

Getting funded costs $338 at the first try; with about $4,950 of profit, the first payout pays it back.

Try your own numbers

After the first payout

  • Make about $2,250 of new profit before the next payout (5 days × $450).

What can cost you a payout

  • End-of-day trailing drawdown: the floor sits $4,500 below your highest end-of-day balance and moves up when you close a day at a new high (never down). Losses during the day only count at the close.
  • Daily loss limit: $3,000. Losing more than that in a single day breaks the rule.
  • Breaking the consistency rule doesn't fail the account, but it blocks the payout until your profit is spread over more days.
